Hi all, as of the last few hours, we have no internet. I can’t teach without internet😢 and I don’t think using my phone as a hotspot will be a strong enough connection. If it is not up and running in time, I will send out an exercise routine to follow on your own.
I apologize for the possible interruption.

I know you guys will not disappoint me and still get your workout in! I on the other hand may very well start drinking early 🤪.

I’ll let you know by 5 what the final decision will be.

Sunshine

Oh beautiful, breezy day, we’ve missed you! It’s a perfect day to go for a walk, run, bike ride or anything else that gets you outdoors. Be sure to get out. Today’s class will be more weight focused, so those of you that love to get your heart rates in the upper 80%, be sure to get that in before or after class. That doesn’t mean today’s class will be easy, just different and not so cardio focused. 😜

Can’t wait to see you soon with your weights, balls, mats, and stairs cleaned off and ready to be used!

I had a blast seeing everyone that came out for the outdoor workout this Saturday. I might keep social distancing rules in place in the future (No one could give me sweaty hugs or sweaty high fives. You all know how much I love those, not). In all seriousness, I hope you enjoyed the workout and the donuts too 🙂 I know I did.

Today, we will be indoors, behind our screens, but very much still together as we complete 8 rounds of Tabata. Bring your discs today (or towels)! See you in 2 hours!

OUTDOOR HIIT WORKOUT PLAN

  1. Arrive between 9:30 and 11 AM on Saturday, June 6. You can start when you arrive.
  2. Park on Lions Ct (before my house) or on Schuldt Dr. (after my house) (image below)
  3. Bring your weights/water/towel to my house
  4. You will start with a warm-up
  5. Go through the 8 Stations around the yard
  6. Start your run/walk
  7. Return at house and go through 8 Stations around the yard
  8. Celebrate with water, bananas and donuts!

Please text me if there are any issues finding my house or if you get lost on the trail 🙂

If you are unable to make it tomorrow, don’t worry. There are a bunch of my recorded workouts on YouTube. Use the link on my homepage to get to the workouts or go to the videos page. In other words, you have no excuse not to be working out tomorrow morning with me. 🙂

Outdoor HIIT workout

Tomorrow will be an outdoor workout around town, my town, Lake Zurich. There will be run and walk options. You will need to bring your weights if you want do the stations around my house, don’t worry, they will be socially distanced. We are practicing social distancing and being extra cautious since my aunt is coming over to help us twice a week. With that being said, we ask that all people follow the 6 feet rule. Everyone is welcome to wear a mask too. There is no judging for whatever rung of the Coronavirus precaution ladder you are on.

I will send out further details later. I know some people wanted to ride their bikes and plan their route, so I wanted to be sure to get everyone my address.

You are welcome to arrive anytime between 9:30 and 11. You DO NOT need to be here all at the same time. Come when it works for you!

HIIT Workout today

Join me for a NEW HIIT Workout today! If you want to be outside, take me outside with you. Bring your phone or laptop in your backyard and get your sweat on. The best part about these workouts is that they can be done ANYWHERE! You will need your weights though, so be sure to bring those out in the sunshine with you.
